clix? Sleepy. Yes, we continue with the seven dwarves theme. Another long day, but another okay one. Got a few good things accomplished. So that's not half bad. I was late for work though. I wanted to call the doctor from home. Stupid idea I guess. I couldn't get through. I gave myself a deadline and of course I got through and got on hold just as I had to leave to get to the bus. So I was late and still needed to call the doctor. I managed to do it at work though. I asked Ester about it. I couldn't remember what they had told us during the intro week. They said something about that we didn't have to use the pay phones if we had to call the doctor or our social worker. And I was right. Ester led me into Gitte and Knud Erik's office. They're both on vacation. It's really not good for moral that our supervisors are on vacation all the time while we aren't allowed any vacation at all. But that's another matter entirely. I called the doctor's office and got myself the appointment. Friday the 23rd. I thought I could get one sooner, but it's only a little more than a week so that's fine. Also managed a smashing workout. Did the new muscular exercises. Feel the burn. And I came up with a good idea for the running. I still can't run for too long. My legs start to hurt and I just go dead. But if I slow down the running machine and do a minute of light walking then I'm ready to run again for a while. Clever. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. I'd just run as much as I could and then stop and get off. Maybe this doesn't count as much as doing it in one stretch but I probably ran twice as much as I normally can so that has to be good. Later on I went back to Access exercises in the computer room. And the tiredness started coming over me. Lone could tell too. When she was getting ready to leave she said "Plume, you look like you're all finished. Why don't you go home too?". So I did. I love supervisors who let you go home. She always leaves at 1, I have to stay till 2. Again, it's not good for the morals when the supervisors leave early and you have to stay tiredly at work. So nice that she sent me home today. I guess it is very evident that I have energy/tiredness problems. I really hope the doc can help. Let's try and look at it positively. 1) Doctor cures my tiredness. 2) That new angst therapy place cures my fear of humans. 3) Intense daily workout gets me in better shape. Yup. I bet I'll be all okay soon. Better not get too optimistic though. It's always when things are going best that bad things start happening. 1) I'm suffering from a fatal disease. 2) I'm insane and can't be cured. 3) My bones break, they're too weak to handle the punishment. Yes, that's more likely. Nah, I'm cautiously optimistic. At least things are not standing still. As long as there is life there is hope. I stopped off in Favorit on my way home from work. Bought some meat and vegatables. No soda, no candy. Amazing. And then I walked by the kiddie playground where the animals are. I stopped and said hello to the Horsey. Aw. He was walking right up to the fence, I probably could have petted him or fed him some grass or something. I should have. What a lovely guy. Or girl. Not a bad day. My Lord of the Rings DVDs came too, but no one was home to accept them so I'll have to go to the post office and get them soon. That was nice though. I had waited for more than a month for the import version. It was still listed on dvdoo's site as "2-9" days. So I wrote an email and complained and asked if they couldn't send me the normal version instead because it was listed as "1-2" days. It costs 50 kroner more but I was tired of waiting. And the very next day it arrives and they only charged me for the price of the import version. So I don't have to pay the extra 50 kroner. That's good service. Although I did deserve it after waiting for more than a month without any information or anything. In other news: The politicians are having fun in Denmark. Our prime minister basically lied to get us to go to war in Iraq. And he's going to get away with it. Oh well. No biggie. "Anders Fogh Rasmussen continued to cite us for his contention that Iraq was 'probably' holding WMD, even though we issued at least 10 threat assessments that were absolutely unequivocal on that point". "We have an elected official here who's blatantly lying: a minister who publicly says things that are at complete odds with the truth. When Anders Fogh Rasmussen says, in reference to the Iraq war, that he 'knows' Iraq has WMD, there are at least ten reports sitting on his desk with information indicating quite the contrary". You gotta love politics. Hail to the thieves. Follow the leader. Time to sleep, Grumpy. np: nothing ... ...fight the power back and forth clix
