Another fun day in the sun. If you eliminate fun and sun. You know, just like the boring vampires want it.

It's been a flatlining week. Always tired. Nothing interesting. And I'm not just talking about the diary.

Now it's finally weekend though. Huge soccer game on Sunday. Much sleeping. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Speaking of much sleeping, I feel like getting a headstart on that soon. First 3 pictures for your consideration.

Number the 1. A bird waiting for the traffic light to turn green. Hah. Unfortunately it flew away before I could get a decent picture. Oh well. It did look just like it was waiting for the light to change.

Number the 2. Ayhan at work. Cleaning more drain pipes. Is there such a thing as a drain pibe? Sit on daddy's knee and listen to him smoking the drain pibe. I don't know. Maybe he'll give you a werter's echte.

Number the 3. How to recognise different kinds of leaves from quite a long way away. While the picture may not be interesting I promise the scene was nice. Like a sea of fallen leaves.

How extremely exciting. Did you know that my left pinky toe is made entirely of glass? No? Well, it's a lie of course. But wouldn't it be funny to have a body part made of glass? Unless you had it because you lost the original body part in an accident. That would suck. I don't even know if glass eyes count. I wear glasses, but that's just neither here nor there or under the stairs.

I'm not rushing anything, how dare you insinuate that? Stand and deliver!

Yesterday was the MTV EMA thing. European Music Awards. I taped it. I can't look away. My favourite part so far was when they announced best group... "And the winner is... The White Stripes!" and everyone looked puzzled and I thought to myself "What the ...". Nothing against The White Stripes, I quite like what I've heard of them. Skye has turned me on to a couple of their songs. But in competition with Coldplay, Metallica, Evanescence and Radiohead? Hah. Well after the crowd died down it followed.. "nah just kidding, it's Coldplay". Brilliant. It seemed like a spontaneous thing. I wonder if White Stripes knew they hadn't won. Coldplay won, and they had done a video thankyou. But I don't know if the losers know ahead of time that they're losing. I bet Radiohead didn't win because they didn't want to show up or do a videothankyou. Anyway, congrats to Coldplay. And ouch to ThE WhiTe STriPes.
