Another sickday. I'm partying hard with my blanket and pillow. Good times for all. I fear tomorrow I'll have to go to work though, I'm starting to feel better. Still tired. But a good night's sleep tonight will probably seal the deal.

It's been nice spending 3 days in bed though. Apart from the feeling sick part. Now if only there was some way to combine being sick with not feeling sick. Staying in bed and feeling good. Don't tell me I don't have ambitions.

One very nice thing happened today. The jedi kitties came to visit me. Sort of. I was in the bathroom and the window was open. And what did I see outside? One of the jedi kitty brothers was walking on the fence on the other side. I looked out the window some more and brother number 2 was walking on the ground. Hehee. I choose to believe that they were worried because they haven't seen me going to work past their hangout spot this week. So they came to check up on me.

I went outside to try and take pictures but then wham! They ran into another back yard. They are playful sorts. They'll let you get close, but not too close. I think they like to tease me. I wish they would've gone into my back yard though. I'd treat them well, there's no reason for them to hang out outside the janitor's place. They could hang out in my yard and we could have lots of fun.

Sigh. I hope they allow cats when the vote comes up soon. I want one. If not two jedi kitties.

Oh and my mother is back. Surgery went fine. It was some bladder thing, but she's all good. Now she just has to relax for the next 6 weeks. Knowing our family the best thing for her would probably be to check into a hotel. But hopefully we can manage not to kill each other even though we'll all be home most of the time.

So let me get confusing... I sent Skye "starry starry night" by Don Mclean. Then she sent me the Jedi Song. Now Jedi Song is not about jedi kitties, it's a parody of American Pie. A song also by Don Mclean. And the parody is done by Weird Al Yankovic. Who did I see on the Simpsons today? Weird Al Yankovic. Wow. It's all connected like a cosmic coincident.

Best be on my way now. No more slacking off, back to work. But hey, only 2 days till weekend. When I am king we will work for two days and slack off for five. And I will go down in history as the downfall of civilization. And if that isn't a happy ending then I don't know what is.
