Another cold and rainy summer day.

Worked in the montage. Packing wine racks all day. Listening to the radio. Pop music. I like that 3 Doors Down song. Here Without You. Although I'm not sure if I should. It's too adictive. I don't know if they're a real band or just some MTV wannabees. Someone tell me what to think, before I go crazy!

Also enjoying Outlandish's new song. De binder os på mund og hånd. Men man kan ikke binde ånd. They're talented guys. Spanish, English, Danish and more I'm sure. I like them.

Had to call the hospital. Knud-Erik let me borrow his office for it. The eye clinic had called me in for another eye test. You remember I had an eye test done but the result was unusable because of "technical difficulties"? Well, I guess nobody told them that the whole thing is over and I don't need any more tests. They just had to try and squeeze in one more. But I called and got it sorted out.

Now only two days till vacation. Oh so good. Oh so wonderful. O joy!

I know you're all dying to know how the soccer went yesterday. Denmark-Sweden 2-2. That was the one result that guaranteed that Sweden and Denmark would both qualify for the quarter finals no matter what happened in Italy's game. This is great fun. Check out newsgroups like rec.sport.soccer and watch the Italians go crazy. Haha. They think Sweden and Denmark had a great conspiracy and agreed to play 2-2. It's rather funny. In the Danish soccer group too. Lots of Italians acting like babies. It's kind of funny. I guess they need to get some aggressions out after Italy performed so poorly. Their biggest contribution to the European Championship was Totti spitting at a Danish player. Good riddance. Denmark and Sweden were much better.

Now we meet the Czechs in the quarter finals. They have been doing great, we'll probably lose. But no matter what our championship effort has been excellent. I have been positively surprised. We're among the 8 best teams in Europe, that's very impressive for a tiny country like Denmark.

And enough soccer for now.

My dad will be home tonight. Late at night. After midnight. And then he'll be home for five weeks or so. It's not fair, I only have three weeks. I wish he would stay away, I would rather have my vacation in peace. But nothing to do about it. At least I'll have a whole week on my own when they go off to Finland or Sweden or wherever.

I have been informed that Father Goat has teats. That sort of puts my naming scheme in question, doesn't it? But you know, Denmark is a liberal country. If we allow gay weddings then why not transexual goats? Freedom to be who you are. That's how I would rule the world.

Or you know, I could rename it to Mother Goat. Decisions, decisions.
