clix? Today was a pretty good day. A little mood swinging but that's okay. Just before I left for work there was a package delivery guy at my door. He delivered a package. Jolly nice. Just a little surprising since we had talked to them on the phone and asked them to deliver it on Thursday. But oh well. Better soon than never. I didn't have time to open it though, can you imagine the will power needed to leave the house and go to work instead of staying home and unwrapping a huge delightful box with hearts taped all around? Temptation. But I went on my merry way on my bike. Nothing outstanding happened at work. Except feelings of sadness. I have been updating my livejournal from work quite often lately. Something to do. On my way home I braved the big hill next to the Reva center. I have never biked all the way up that hill before. Usually I go halfway and then I get off my bike because it wrecks me so. But today I biked all the way up. I'm so proud. I shall apply for the Tour de France any day now. Team Easy On must have openings. Back at home I did not only get to open the big package I also got a smaller package in the normal mail. Both of them from Skye. She's so great to me. And she always gets me the greatest things. I find it much harder, I might be jolly but I'm not Santa. Anyway. The packages contained this. If you can make it out. Two dutch books. I won't be able to read them for a good while yet, but they are books that are important to Skye and I think there were cheap on sale at the library so I find it very sweet that I have them in my collection now. And then two English books, A Cat Abroad and The Cat Who Went To Paris. Aw. Who loves cats? That's right, I loves cats. And then a red polo shirt and a pair of fancy Adidas swim trunks, for when I get forced to swim hehe. And a great bag, that was the best thing. I really needed one for work. For my camera and cell phone and lunch and reading material and all. It's great. And it goes so well with my jacket. Finally also a green shirt which isn't in the picture because... I'm wearing it! Yes, great stuff. I don't deserve all that. But Skye isn't Santa either and she obviously doesn't check who's been naughty and nice. Well, I've been both. But as long as I'm naughty with her then that's not so bad. So that made me all happy. There's nothing like Skye's packages. All it lacked was a burning transformer. But you can't have everything. Weird. Now of course I am in Skye's debt so she has forced me to give you this link. Who am I to say no? No, really it looks like a great idea doesn't it? Cell dogs. Dogs helping prison inmates. And prison inmates helping dogs. I mean if the alternative is putting the dogs down and sending the inmates out to reoffend then what is there to lose with this program? I can imagine it would do a lot of good. Sounds sweet. So I still have that one thing I wanted to write about, but it can wait. Time to go. Tomorrow is the psychiatric evaluation. The good part is that I don't have to go to work. The meeting isn't till 15.30. I'll go to town and visit the bank and do some shopping and relax. Nice. The bad part is that I'm bloody scared and I don't want to do it and I hope aliens kidnap me in my sleep. You know, the usual stuff. But I'll get over it. Try to make the best of it. I can make it. I'll be fine. soundtrack: ... ...nerves back and forth clix
