Feed the goats

I should probably warn you. This will be a picture entry. Because I have spent all my time editing the pictures and watching Denmark-Sweden (still running) so there's no much time for writing. I'll cram something in though, don't you worry.

Another half sickday. Was not feeling too great and left work fairly early. Still coughing a lot.

I went out for a little walk in the area around the Reva center. There's a church close to it, so I went there and looked for photo opportunities. I only managed to take a quick snap of the church itself then it started raining on me. I took that as a sign that I shouldn't disturb the peace.

So I went home instead. Got off the bus at Favorit, did a little shopping and then I went to the playground and had fun with the animals.

I hadn't eaten my lunch at work of course. A nice juicy bun. So I decided to try and feed the goats. I had been a little nervous about that but Skye had encouraged. So I did it.

Tried with Father Goat first

father goat

He's the biggest of the goats and he comes off as a little aggressive, like he's protecting the herd or something. He made me a little nervous. But he ate from my hand and was sweet like a deer.

The second goat was too nervous though.

kees

He didn't want to eat, he sort of stayed behind Father. I have named him Kees. Well, Skye named him really. It's a dutch name. Nice isn't it?

The last goat is Blackie of course. My favourite. He wasn't with the others today though. He was tied down on his own on the other side of the playground. I don't know why. He was baah'ing a lot. The first times I met him he didn't really say anything. I guess he was lonely. He baahed out and Father goat baahed back to him from the other side of the ground.

Maybe they had tied him down there because he was naughty and jumped many fences. Or maybe Kees is in heat. I don't know. It was a little sad. He was happy to see me though. And I fed him of course.

feed blackie

He has made me happy lately, only fair that I give something back. A little food and petting.

pet

He stopped baahing when I was there, he just wanted some company I guess.

blackie

I can't help it, I just love the little guy. Hehee.

blackie2

It really clears my mind of worries. Sheep and goats, who would have thought they were the cure.

When I came home I lied down to rest a little. Turned on the TV. What was on? A program about a Swedish couple living in Denmark. They made goat cheese. Lots of cute little goats. Hah. What a coincidence. Maybe I should do that. A carreer as a goat farmer. Goat cheese maker. Is goat cheese = cottage cheese? I don't know, I must study cheeses I guess. Or watch that Monty Python sketch again.

I wouldn't mind a job like that.

Okay it's way too late now. Must finish. Denmark-Sweden 2-1 right now. And Italy-Bulgaria 1-1. With 8 minutes to go. If those scores remain then Denmark will win the group and go to the quarter finals. Together with Sweden. That would be great. End of story.
