For those of you who don't understand Danish... they dropped the case! They won't do anything further as long as I don't break the copyright law by making music available again. I don't have to pay. It's over.

I'm still sad that the site is down. I still think what I did was good. I still think it should be considered good. Sharing the music. Loving the music. I don't see how it can be bad for the artist. But the law is the law so my mp3 sharing days are over. I'm just happy to be out of it all now. The last few days have been one nervous jumble of constant worrying. Now I can try to focus on other things.

I literally feel like I have dodged a bullet. I was sitting at the computer when the email came. And my heart stopped. Again. It was kind of late so I had given up hope of getting an email back from him. I was thinking I would get some paperwork in the mail. I was thinking that was a bad sign. But thank god they decided to listen to me. It's easy to be cynical about lawyers. But I guess there's still room for the truth somewhere.

My exact reaction went something like...

plume (16:12:40): Wooo
plume (16:12:44): oh yeah

Hehe.

It's strange now. No more updating. No more struggling to keep the site alive, to keep the songs online. No more emails asking for help. No more frustration, no more joy. No more dailysp.

It's the end of an era. For me anyway. Now I go back to being an anonymous fan. I guess that's not so bad.

Man. I'm glad this is over. Thank you all for the support. You make me real.
