All Hail to the Terminator

....you're transparent and glasslike nanananana.

Welcome back. Did you notice I was gone? There is some strange diaryland error going on here. My first 5-6 pages went completely blank, no text, no pictures, no html, no nothing.

I have figured out now that if I go and edit my html (I don't have to change anything though) then the entries show up fine. But if I edit an old entry or add a new one then puff! It goes blank again. And I have to go and edit my html template again to make it show up. Annoying. It seems like diaryland "forgets" my html when I add or edit entries. And then I have to go to the "change template" place and "remind" it. Weird. I hope Andrew will fix this. I submitted a tech report yesterday, no word yet. But at least I figured out how to make the entries show up on my own. So no disaster.

If you missed yesterday's entry then I do recommend you go back and read it. It had nice bits about morning conspiracies, dvd reviews, memories from Sweden and of course the saddest cartoon ending ever. Good stuff. And pictures for Dylan. Don't make me beg.

Today was less interesting. Cafer wasn't at work again. Seems he's in the hospital and might need surgery. I don't know what's wrong with him but I hope he'll be okay. I'm a nice guy.

In other news: it's the big engagement day today. Prince Frederik and Mary Donaldson from Australia. Our future queen. Queen Mary. I hope they'll play Mary Star of the Sea at the wedding.

She spoke her first words in Danish, our lovely Mary. This is a very important thing to us Danes. Queen Margrethe's husband Henrik (or Henri in French hehe) has been in the country for 40 years or something like that, and his Danish isn't very good. People always hold that against him. Our other prince married Alexandra from Hong Kong. She immediately mastered Danish and everybody loved her. The conclusion: if you ever want to marry into our royal family then you better learn the language quick.

But all that aside Mary seems like a nice person. Just like Alexandra. They seem like strong, intelligent, beautiful women. So we'll ignore the fact that they're commoners. The whole concept of royalty seems silly to me anyway.

In slightly less important news: It seems Arnold Schwarzenegger is now president of the United States of America. At least that' how I understand it. Ah well, governor/president. Whatever. All hail to the Terminator. The people have spoken. This should be interesting. It was a little surreal to see him on the victory walk. A huge grin. I was half expecting him to go "Duuuuude. Alrite!".

To be serious, I think this is a disaster. It has horrible, horrible consequences. Didn't anyone think about this when they voted? Didn't they realize what they were doing? NO MORE ARNIE MOVIES?!?!? Oh my god, the world is shaken.

And so on and so forth. It reminds me of when the Danish singer/entertainer Jacob Haugaard got into the Danish government. My mother voted for him. You gotta love democracy, or whatever we have.

C'est la vie. N'est-ce pas?

Oui. Hoorah.
