My oh my. Today was full of suprises. Good ones too.

First of all today was a holiday of course. That wasn't a surprise, but it was good. Sleeping late. That is the stuff they make marshmallows of.

It's "big praying day" in Denmark. I assume it's something religious, I don't even know. It's a holiday in the sun that's what matters.

After much sleep I lounged on in and sat in front of the computer. Just expecting to quickly read some boards and startup some processes. But there out of the blue it came. A real shock. A great, exciting thing. I will try not to ramble too much about it seeing as though very few of my readers will care. But the Smashing Pumpkin concert from the Avalon 1988-08-10 was leaked. That is the first "official" Smashing Pumpkins show ever. Since Mashed Potatoes was leaked this has been the ultimate holy grail of the sp collector. At least the unleet ones like me who don't have the contacts to get leet stuff. Now the Avalon is unleet, leaked for everyone to hear. Man oh man. I know you probably don't understand. But... imagine you're a fan of Michael Jordan and you find a collection of High School essays he wrote. Or you're a fan of David Bowie and you find a recording of a piano recital he did when he was 13. Or you're a fan of a Danish diary writer and you find his secret diary full of hidden goodies. Or you're a fan of Britney Spears and you find a secret rehearsal tape where she she sings duets with Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and miss Piggy. Or you're a fan of Johnny Depp and you find the secret audition tape where he tries out for the role of Jar Jar Binks in the Phantom Menace.

You get my point or do I need to get out my sledgehammer?

Just something very rare and very exciting. There are 4 songs in that show that I have never heard before. One of them being I Fall. I quote myself from the end of my entry from 2001-09-14: "I hope I get to hear I Fall one day". And now three years later. I have heard it. Amazing.

So I was stoked about that all day.

And then later on in the day suddenly Skye was back! Yes. Good times by far. I was expecting her to be back from vacation tomorrow. So it was a very nice surprise to find her online today. It just hasn't been the same without her. It's like walking around on just one leg for a week. Sure you can get around, but you just really want your second leg back.

But it's just great to have her back. Natural order restored. And I'm looking muchly forward to seeing her vacation pictures. Her and Sascha at the beach. Aw. I'll love that.
