I am rocking back and forth in my chair. If you can picture it. Swaying in the imaginary wind.

A cold and dark Monday morning. You know the kind.

I forgot my keys at home. My mother phoned me at work. That's the first time my cell phone has really come in handy, for practical purposes I mean.

I was suddenly in a hurry at work. There weren't enough items in the January schedule so we decided to put the february items in there too. And since deadline is tomorrow I had to get that all sorted today. But no problem. And now we have a nice January/February flyer and poster ready to be produced tomorrow. And then it's almost vacation.

I just had to throw that in there.

After work I went down by the river and said hello to the birds.

It's been a nice animal friendly day. I met a cat on my way to work. And on my way up to the mail box I ran into one of the jedi kitties. And it even meowed at me. I have never heard them meow before. Is there anything cuter than a cat's meow? If only I could bottle that sound.

I need a pet. I really need a pet.

Hopefully I can start to consider it in the new year.
