If God wanted man to go to work on a Friday he would have given us a third leg. Or an inscription on our forehead that said "go to work on a friday". Or the eleventh commandment would have been "Thou shalt go to work on a Friday though thine eyes shall be wrought with sleepiness".

And other blasphemies.

There was a bright spot though. As I was waiting for Cafer to get the hot, soapy water so we could wash the floor I heard someone say something about snow. I looked out the window. Didn't see anything. But wait! Something.. coming out of the sky. A snowflake. Another one. And another. Yes. It was snowing. Not much. Just a little slow snow. Slow enough that you could follow the individual flakes from the sky to the ground. And I smiled. First snow. It is always a great moment.

We washed the floor. And every opportunity I got I would look out the window and watch the snow falling.

And then Peter sent me to buy cigarettes at the gas station. So I got to take a walk. In the cold air. With the snow falling on me. That's the best I've felt in a long while. And it started to snow harder. And it was just perfect.

Of course now the snow has stopped. And none of it stayed on the ground. But I got first snow. Hopefully there will be more. It does wonders to my mood. Transforms me right back to a little kid who doesn't know any of the bad things in the world.

So many bad things. So few good. But I got some snow. I got Skye. I'm grateful for what I have. But let's stop or this will turn into thanksgiving. I'm not American.

My local tabloid says that Angelina Jolie has accepted the role of Linda Lovelace in a new movie. The porn queen. There are just so many possibilities there. Too bad they won't be fulfilled hehe. Everybody loves Angelina Jolie. Guys. Girls. Doesn't matter. Everybody thinks she's hot. She's the female version of me, you could almost say. You'd be a bloody liar. But don't let that stop you.

Sweet weekend. 2 weeks till the holidays. Skye gets her beautiful puppy tomorrow. I'm almost as excited as her I think. It's just so amazingly cute. I'm looking forward to getting new pictures. What a baby, what a honey, what a sweetie pie. And the puppy isn't bad either.

Sometimes the world isn't so bad. Even when I'm completely depressed. Maybe I'm kidding myself. But sometimes it almost seems beautiful.
