Ah, another week starts. Isn't it lovely?

Not much going on. I finally got to see the full Siva video. It's only taken me a month or so to download it. But it's worth it. Brilliant. Now I just have to wait another month and then I'll be able to watch Rhinoceros.

Mmmmmm. I'm tired. Let me just keep you up to date with the hard drive situation. There's good news and bad news. Bad news first. I haven't installed it yet. But it I don't think anyone will be surprised at that... Good news: I opened it up and messed about and made some progress. I actually opened the static bag containing the hard drive. And inside was an installation sheet. And it contained information that leads me to believe that I might possibly be able to use the hard drive after all. And now the cable makes sense to me. So I pretty much think I'm ready to give it a go and that it might actually work. I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm also Danish not Swedish.

Ah anyway. I posted to a newsgroup asking if I was right about my assumptions. If I get a positive reply then I should be set. If I don't get any feedback then I'll just do it anyway. Removing an IDE cable from a hard drive won't erase it's contents right? No obviously it won't. People can carry a hard drive from one computer to another... I just answered one of my own questions! Brilliant! I still would like someone from that newsgroup to reassure me. Just so I have someone to blame when it all comes crashing...

but it's looking better than ever. I think in a couple of days it will be over. I will have a new hard drive functioning. I'm itching to play Ultima 9 with the dialogue patch. I'm itching to download more videos. I just want to get it done.

I'm talking to a really weird dude on napster. He's talking in a real cryptic way. Either he's russian and struggling to communicate or else he's suffering from Billy's chard syndrome, being weird for the sake of it. I don't know. For once I won't go to the trouble of taking a screenshot and uploading it. You'll just have to imagine.

I love ads. I wonder if it actually checks if you have that internet boost thing? Wouldn't it be fun seeing that if you had already downloaded the thing. Isn't that just amazingly profoundly hilarious?

I had a whole story prepared about rain and personal spaces and an asian girl. I think I'll save that for tomorrow. If I remember.
