Another frosty morning. Riddle me this: if there's frost on the lawn why won't it snow? Maybe soon. Cold, cold weather is coming. With a little luck it might reach Denmark. You never know.

Now it's weekend. And I can snuggle up under warm blankets and sleep sweet dreams. Good news for us all I'm sure you'll agree.

It was a tired morning today. But I was cheered up on my way to work. I met one of the kitties again. Yes, nothing brightens my day like a cute little cat. I also met a funny bird. It was sitting on top of a lamp post. But it was hacking at it with its beak. Almost like a woodpecker on a tree. Strange. I filmed it but alas, a little bird high on a lamp post doesn't work well on crude digicam film. Still, I'm sure you can imagine it. The bird hacking away making plonk noises. Hehe.

Work passed by and I walked home. And the cat was still there.

What a pretty kitty. If you click the picture then you can see the overview. That's the place they were both sitting yesterday. And the place he was sitting all day today. Maybe they live there. It's the janitor's place. I'm not sure janitor is the right word. But the guy what fixes stuff and cleans and everything around our appartment complex. Behind those white doors is where he parks his mini tractor sweeping car thing. I'm thinking maybe he takes care of the kitties. Or maybe the kitties just like the place. I hope they'll stay there. What a nice way to start and end the workday, walking by and saying hello to the kitties.

Maybe they will get used to me then. The little guy wouldn't let me get completely close to him today. Everytime I'd get too near he'd get up and walk 5 feet away and sit down again and watch me. And he'd keep doing that. Like he was saying "okay you can come close, but that's close enough. I don't know where you've been". It was funny. It even hid under this wagon thing. Hehe. Lovely cats. I hope they'll stick around.

Life ain't that bad when there are cats around, I find.

Damn it. I was going to drop signmyguestbook and put the new one in. Then I check the new one. And the two test entries it had were gone. Where did they go? Why oh why isn't it just possible to get a nice and simple working guestbook without problems? You can even put ads on it or whatever. I just want it to work. Sigh. Well, I guess I'll have to stay with signmyguestbook for a while. I can't use the new one if it just deletes entries after a while. I made a new test entry. I guess I'll check if it's still there in a week. Bloody Andrew. As much as I appreciate what you've done I still want to punch you in the face. It's fine to make the guestbooks a pay service so new people don't sign up, but for the people already using it... fixit fixit fixit. Or shut it down, that would be the honest thing to do. "Sorry, the guestbooks are costing too much I can't keep it up. Only people what pay can use them from now on". Something. Don't spend time on improving diaryland, it's working fine now. No new features needed for a while. If it ain't broke don't fix it. but it is broke. And I'ma punch you dammit. Tough love, that's the only way.
