Well, I was feeling kinda sick today. So I stayed home from work. But I'm sure it would've been hollering as usual if I'd gone.

If you saw the last entry then you'll know I got my Smashing Pumpkins greatest hits. It wasn't delayed after all. Weet. There's something so magical about it. Just holding a new pumpkins release in my hands. Swoon. It's been a while. Too long. Just opening that cd and looking at the pictures. Now I wish I hadn't downloaded the JUDAS Ø songs of course. If they'd been new to me then the experience would have been truly orgazmix.

Damn, I can't do that properly. Anyway. I could've done with less aeroplane tracks. But I somehow liked the Machina 2 tracks. They brought back memories. Memories of when all hell broke loose on alt.music.smash-pumpkins. Which pill do you choose? That was so good. Downloading the album. Hearing Slow Dawn on Judas made that all come back. I wish I could find that thread on google.

All in all it would've been good with more unheard material but I think the whole package is worth it just for Soot And Stars, Sparrow and Winterlong. Hell for Soot And Stars alone.

I was supposed to listen to Judas Ø over and over. I ended up putting soot and stars on repeat. Watching Dawson's Creek and Roswell. Because I'm 13. No wait, 23. Nevermind. It was nice though. In DC Jen had to talk to a therapist and admit to self-hating. And in Roswell Alex seemingly killed himself (Or... DID HE?!?!?! Dun dun dun). Self-hatred and suicide. Mmmm morbid fascinations of mine. With Soot and Stars in the background. That's good for depressed sick times.
