Cough cough cough.

Sorry, that was me retelling my day. Yes, much coughing was done by yours truly. On a brighter note, my throat isn't actually hurting anymore. So that's good. Just the coughing and a little dizzy mizz lizzy feeling in my head.

I didn't stay long at work. Couldn't focus. Lone wasn't there. I think I deserved a half sickday.

Although I was 20 minutes late because of the summer bus schedule. Damnit, just because all the lazy schoolkid bums have holiday now doesn't mean we working people don't need the busses.

Next week I go on vacation though, then they can stop running altogether for all I care.

It's been a rainy day. And there are more to come. Perfect summer weather in my mind. Well, maybe a little sunshine wouldn't hurt. I have to try out my handheld ventilator sometime.

Tomorrow is the big soccer day. Denmark-Sweden in the euros. We have to beat Sweden to be sure of making the quarter finals. A draw might be enough. It's a big, big game. Local rivals. It's quite exciting. I don't have high hopes though. Sweden have been excellent in the championships so far. They'll probably go on with Italy and little Denmark will be out. But here's to hoping, you never know what will happen.

I finally completely finished my R.E.M. mix today. Fully finished and burned. It has taken me many months to make it. Just the process of selecting the songs, and selecting the versions. Basically it's just an excuse to listen to tons of rem concerts hah. But it's nice to have it done.

Unoriginal title, I know. But I don't mind saying that it's a great mix. It is. I love it. There is the usual problem of syncing up live songs from different concerts, and it's even harder than usual when you're dealing with concerts from the 80s. So long ago, so mixed quality. But the songs are great. The start is awesome. Track 3 to 7-8. These days -> Turn You Inside Out -> Orange Crush. Awesome threesome, really hard hitting. It gets more quiet later on. Finishing with Perfect Circle, King of Birds and Camera. King of Birds is amazing, it has become one of my favourites after making this mix. And of course finishing of with End of the World. Clichéd, but there's just no way around it.

Poor screenshot + bad compression etc but you get the idea. And maybe not the most appropriate picture, but then I want to use my own pictures for my covers. And I came across this entry in my picture diary. Four raindropped pictures. And I'm planning to make four R.E.M. mixes. Too perfect. Nice continuity.
