christmas hard dogs

My head hurts. Work was hard today. There was a giant christmas feast in the Barn. We had to clean up after that. A million plates, a million cups, 2 million forks and knives. And so on. I need a vacation.

Luckily I will have one soon. Friday and Monday. Then I'm done at the Barn.

Peter ComputerGuy is all done today. He has stopped at the Barn. He pulled me aside today and told me that before I left we had to have a talk. Eep, I thought, what now? But he just wanted to make sure that I didn't leave without saying a proper goodbye. He's a nice guy.

And we did get a nice goodbye before I left. Thanked each other for the nice times we've had together. I told him I was stopping at the Barn too. We made a little joke about how poorly AGF had been doing (the local soccer club, still).

The Barn will be strange after new years. No Peter. No me. It won't be the same.

I'll miss Peter too. He was probably the one I talked best with. Cafer is the one I spend most time with. But Peter sometimes makes that little extra effort to get me engaged in the social activities. We joke around. It's nice. I will miss that.

Cafer brought his youngest kid to work today. Because of a strike in the childcare sector or something like that. An adorable little, shy girl. She helped us sweep the floor. The broom was twice as tall as her. Aww. Cute.

After today's hard work I went shopping and spent much money on things for the christmas with Skye. I hope I'll get all the right stuff. I got the right candles. Weet, go me.

From Emilylime:

pitchfork top 50 singles of the year http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/top/2003/singles/index.shtml

6. !!! - me and giuliani down by the school yard (a true story)
5. junior senior - move your feet
4. the rapture - house of jealous lovers
3. justin timberlake - cry me a river
2. beyonce feat. jay-z - crazy in love
1. outkast - hey ya!

How's about that? A Danish band at number 5. Go Denmark. Also number 1 is great of course. I can agree that Hey Ya is the single of the year. Foh Sho. You know what I think about Justin, though. And Crazy in Love is okay I guess, not my kinda thing. I don't see why it's much better than a million other singles but okay. And the last 2 I haven't heard. So there.

Now I really need to go rest. Tend to my aching head. Sleep. Sleep is good. And while I go cool off you can go claim your advent prize for December 18th you can.
