just a little request

Interesting day today. And no, I am not EXAGGERATING.

The UEFA cup draw was today. Brøndby was drawn against FC Barcelona. Hehee. That'll be fun. The games aren't till February next year. I can't wait. The fun thing is that Brøndby's coach Michael Laudrup used to play for Barcelona. Back when they were the Dream Team. If you're a soccer lover then surely you must have fond memories of those days. When Romario came to Barcelona. Laudrup and Romario together. That was out of this world. Soccer doesn't get more beautiful. And now Laudrup will take on his old club. Fun fun.

Morten Olsen's comment on this: "vitterligt". (Sorry, you had to be there).

A frosty day today. Wintery. Icy.

Is that a dinosaur footprint?

Oh, that reminds me. I watched the Jurassic Bark episode of Futurama on dvd today. That's the second time I have watched that episode. And it still gets to me just as much. The ending is just so sad. Yet beautiful. The poor doggie waiting loyally for years. And the song. "I will wait for You". It really is a beautiful ending. I like that about Futurama. Every once in a while they switch from fun/silly cartoonery to emotional depth. And they make it work. "If it takes forever, i will wait for you. For a thousand summers, I will wait for you. Till you're here beside me.....". Not many cartoons almost make me cry.

So anyway. I wanted to tell about work today. After we defeated the dinosaurs and washed the floor in the hall we got a special visit. Look at the car. TV production. Yes, TV people came to make a feature about the barn. About the urban project.

Oh now that I'm stopping at the barn I can type out the name. Tousgaardsladen. There, google that! I'm sure all my (soon to be former) workmates will now find this diary soon and they can see what a crayzeee person I am. Far from the quiet, subdued, shy weirdo I may appear to be.

Or something.

Back to the TV story. We got a visit from Carsten Hjort. Or Karsten Jorth. Or Charsten Hjorth. Or something like that. He's quite famous. Locally. I tried taking pictures of the superstar, but like all celebrities he's a slippery devil so all I got was this and this. Hah. Oh well. I did manage to make a video clip of them filming the feature. Sort of like a "behind the camera" thing. Funny. Filming a TV filming, how many people get to do that? I count my blessings. I might even appear on it. I might be on TV. Weet. Okay, it would only be in the background. But still. Practically a TV star. I hope I can catch it when it's on. I'm not sure when it will be broadcast. I hope they won't cut my part. What a bittersweet taste of hollywood that would be.

It surprised me that the TV crew consisted of one guy with a tiny camera. It looked like something you could buy at your local hi-fi store for not too much money. One camera guy and then mr bigshot tv presenter. I don't actually like him much, I find him annoying. But he seemed like a nice enough person, and he wore a snazzy suit so who am I to talk trash about him?

Let's all be friends.

And in a friendly spirit the 12th calendar candle entry is now ready to be opened:

Cutesy wutesy.

Oh, I saw Tina Dickow in the paper yesterday. My old schoolmate. Who starred nude in a TV Show and is now a singer. She's nominated for an award. I forget which one. Mrs bigshot. I'm happy for her though, couldn't have happened to a sweeter person. She'd look better in a suit too.

Alritey then. I think it's time to skip and dawdle into the weekend. I am tired and must rest my weary head. Hope you have a good one.
