Hellothere!

I'm going to have to try to keep this short, because it's late and I'm quite tired. And I'm busy with my... BRAND NEW COMPUTER!

That's right. If you don't read my livejournal then you won't know that I was considering buying a new computer. But I was. And as the Sunday progressed I became more and more convinced. And then today I left work an hour early to go to El-Giganten (the electricity giant, David Lynch would love that name...) and I bought myself a brandspanking new computer. It all seems to be working just fine so far. It's not the best computer in the world but it's a lot better than my old one. And it'll be even better when I move the 512mb from the old one to this one.

There is nothing as exciting as booting up a brand new computer for the first time.

Well, of course there is. But nevermind that. I'm quite excited now. Good, good stuff. No more computer worries. Hopefully.

Also I had birthday celebrations today. The real birthday is tomorrow of course, but my mother has a nightshift so we decided to celebrate today. And by celebrate I mean having nice dinner, nice cake and a few presents. Me, my brother and my mother. So nothing special. But nice enough. I got Seinfeld season 3 boxset, that'll go nicely in my collection. And then I got a soccer magazine thing. And finally a reduction in the computer price. It's a fairly cheap computer already, mainly because I don't need a new screen and it doesn't have that much RAM. And then 1/4th of it will be payed by my mother, as a birthday present. So all in all I'm getting a swanky fab computer at a very reasonable cost.

I am quite happy. And quite tired. I hope it'll all go well now. I need to install my programs. And move my old files. It's handy to have an 80gb external hard drive. Easily moved between the old and new computer. Perfect for transfering files.

I wish I could stay home tomorrow. To play with my new toy. But I have to go I guess. I think people should get their birthdays off. What, our world is in such a hurry that having your birthday off is too much to ask for? When I am king you will all get to spend your birthdays any way you like. Because I'm just that nice.
