There's a handball game buildup in the background. And they're using the Jurassic Park theme. Hehe. Am I a geek for recognising that? I like the Jurassic Park Theme.

Side note: we're getting our butts whooped in handball. Denmark has always had one of the world's very very best female handball teams. Guess those days are over. Good thing I'm not a handball fan!

Americans probably don't even know what handball is anyway. "Is that like football but with hands" they would ask stupidly. Oh wait, that's a good description actually. I'm the stupid one.

We had visitors today. Surprise visitors. I got up from taking a nap (it's weekend, I deserve one) and went into the living room and there was my mother's brother Bent and his kid Thomas. Man Thomas is getting big. He's taller than me. But then I have been growing downwards. Seriously, I was taller when I was 15 than I am now. I think. Anyway, Thomas must be getting old. He's 12 or 13 I think. And my mother is talking to him like he's 5. And Peter's being his hyperactive self. And my parents small-fighting over small things. And I'm hiding away, sulking in the corner. Man our family must seem like a bunch of crackpots. Not really like an insane fun family, just like a big stupid annoying mess. Oh well.

Speaking of family... my dad had me sending an email. He's applying for a job in Greenland. Again. I don't get him, what does he want? To be with the family or to be alone? To be in Denmark or to be in Greenland? He should make up his damn mind. I don't think my mother is too thrilled about it. But for me personally it wouldn't be too bad. It's easier for me when he's away. But anyway, I should be away from here myself soonish so maybe it won't matter at all.

Not only was there handball today but there was also football soccer. The last game of the year. Not the best game, Brøndby drew with Aalborg. But now it's winter break. With the following status:

Isn't that fascinating? Well, it is to me. Because Brøndby is number 1 with a bullet. It's looking really good. 7 points ahead of FC Copenhagen who is normally the biggest rival. Yup it's looking good indeed. And now there are 3 months till the league starts up again. I hate winter break, it's much too long without football. I'll miss the weekly highlight of live Brøndby games. I am unhealthily addicted to it.

20 games. 14 wins. 46 points. 35-14 goalscore. And a thriumphant UEFA cup campaign. What a season. Glorious.

And now you won't have to listen to me go on about soccer for 3 months, so you should be happy too.

Guess what was on TV yesterday? Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Movie! Wheee. Oh yeah. It's been so long since I saw any of the TV episodes. A year or more. At least. I love MST3K. I don't know if motion picture is the best format for it but it was just great to see my robot pals again. You know, I think every TV should be sold with a built-in mst3k feature. Instead of tivo or whatever all those new fancy TV features are called. You should be able to flip a button on the remote and then an mst3k panel pops up and you can sit and comment with the robots. There's so much crap on TV, endless things to make fun of. The alternative, of course, would be to do it with your friends. But not everyone has that luxury. It would be cheaper to buy a special new TV than to buy friends.

That's not sad.
