climb a plume

Oh me. Oh my. I am happy. Feeling good. I have stories to tell. Pictures to show. Dreams to dream. The sun is shining. Strictly speaking that's a lie, because it's night now. But it feels like the sun is shining.

Let's see. I guess I should take the best bit first. That was today. I had the day off. Went up to the playground. I was wondering if it would be open. It's closed in weekends. And today was a holiday. When I got there only a few of the birds were outside. The goat house was locked. So I thought I wouldn't get to see my lovelies. But luckily I waited around a few minutes.

A girl came and lead the horses out. So I stayed around a little longer, and sure enough next she opened the goat house.

Mads came peeking out in the sun. What was the first thing he did?

He rubbed himself against the fence. The second thing he did was come over to me and try to eat my coat.

That's the girl who let out the animals. I thought I recognised her. And I did. It's Jannie. She lives practically next door to me. She was there today with her mother. I don't think they're part of the playground staff. My mother has said that she has seen them at the playground on weekends. So I think they just go up there when the playground is closed and let the animals out to get some air and to feed them. They were out for an hour today only.

I don't know Jannie very well. I seem to remember that when we were growing up she was considered a "freak" or something. Which makes me sad to think of. She was never part of the gang who played in our street, even though she lived right there.

But anyway. The animals came out.

Someone had left a bag on the ground. That's always dangerous when there are goats in the neighbourhood.

Hehe. They can sniff out food wherever it may be. They can sniff out my coat too.

Which leads me to that "best" thing that I was wanting to start the entry with. Sorry for the roundabout. But here goes. I sat down on a bench. And cuddled Mads for a good few minutes or something. By cuddle I mean: he tried to eat my coat and I cuddled to stop him. I guess Magnethe saw him. She finally took an interest in my coat too. I guess she has grown enough to appreciate the deliciousness of Plumewear.

She came up on the bench. And she was ALL over me! It was so much fun. She was literally walking on me. And you know how a dog goes up with its front legs on your body? Leaning on you like that? Well Magnethe did that. A lot. And she did it while I was sitting on the bench while she was on the top table of the bench. Which means she was resting her front legs on my shoulders and neck! It was crazy. Haha. Crazy and great. So much fun. Probably the best thing since Skye's dog was sitting on my lap in their car.

I wish I could have gotten a good picture of it. But it's kinda hard to take a picture when you're being trampled! I considered asking some else to take a picture of it for me, but it didn't happen. So you'll have to imagine. Maybe the following pictures will help. A Little collection of Magnethe fun. Rest assured that she didn't get to eat any parts of my coat or my shoelace.

Aw. Man. It was amazing. She was just like a tiny version of Mads. All over me. Nibbling at every part of me. She has sharp teeth! With Mads or Mathilde you never feel the teeth. But it's like Magnethe doesn't realize that human flesh isn't goat food. I felt her teeth nibbling on my hands and fingers too. If I hadn't withdrawn them all the time I think she would've bitten me, she almost did a little. What can I say, I am very yummy.

But it was great. It was wonderful. It made me very happy. Being so close to her. Cuddling and petting and stroking. I could feel how heavy she has gotten too. I didn't stretch properly after biking to work yesterday. So I was a bit sore. And even though she's still a kid she does weigh a fair deal. She was standing with her front legs on my calves and it was hurting somewhat. But I didn't care, cause she's so lovely and it was so much fun. There's that word again. Fun fun fun.

And let's not forget Mads. He came back and I had two goats trying to eat me. One little one climbing all over me and one big one attacking from below. I don't know if I have ever had that much fun before in my life.

Oh look at her horns.

I can almost see them growing by the day.

And now a little section for Maile.

They were inside so I had to use a bit heavy flash. But it brought out the blue in his eyes!

The sheep didn't get to go out today. I think probably because mama sheep is a bit much to handle. And they can't let her go free outside. So when there isn't any proper playground staff then they have to stay inside. I don't think they liked it much. They were jealous of the goats.

Mama was trying to bust out.

She was kicking and charging against the planks. I wish I could've let them out.

Maybe it's coincidence but it almost looked like White was trying to pick the lock!

They're so big they can get all the way up like that. But they can't jump over. I bet Mads could if he wanted to.

Did I mention that? The goats and the sheepies are in the same house, in the same section there. It's quite clear that the goats are the bosses. The sheepies are tolerated, as long as they don't get too fresh with the food.

A cute girl. I talked to her a little about the goats. It still makes me happy when the kids interact with me.

It all ended too soon though. The animals had to go back in.

Mathilde had to be lured with food.

That was my playground love for today. But I was up there yesterday too and a few things I should mention.

When I came there were some kids playing with a football. They kicked it away, in the direction I was coming from. So they asked me to get it for them. And I did. Kicked it back to them. But it bounced and hit the windows of the playground house. Oops. Good thing they had plastic glass in them hehe.

They asked me my name too. I am a person there.

I saw Kurt. The animal owner. And he said hi to me. That was nice. We normally say hi when we pass each other, when we're close. But this time he saw me from afar and raised his hand to greet me. I feel nice and accepted up there. Part of the place.

And this girl again:

She always wants me to take pictures of her. She's adorable. "Can you take a picture of me with the bunny too?". And then when I show her the pictures she goes all giggly. It's lovely.

I had a great moment yesterday too. I sat down on the big slide. And the sun broke out.

It was all summery. Mads was cuddle-attacking me. Mathilde and Magnethe were walking around. The lambs were grassing while Mama looked on. It was beautiful.

It was divine.

Really. If there is a heaven then it must look like that. Summer, grass, animals. It was just gorgeous.

I love that place. I don't know what I would do without it. I can't wait to go back. I wonder if I can get Magnethe to walk all over me again.

I am all smiles.

Also today: I bought a web hotel. Webspace. Whatever you call it. 1 gb of space. 10 gb of traffic. More than I will ever use, but it's at a very affordable price. I'm happy with it. plume.dk is now ready to begin. There's still only the placeholder page but it's all set for me to start work on it. Lovely.

This has been the best day ever.

Happy weekend to you all!
