It's Lucas with the lid off

Guess what Santa brought me today? Santa brought me Futurama season 4 and Evil Dead II DVDs. Weet. I now have the entire Futurama series. Mwahaha. Sorry, it just makes me happy.

Actually Santa didn't bring them to me as much as I had to chase him down. The mailman (dressed in red, very santalike) decided not to ring our doorbell I guess. Or maybe I didn't hear. I was alone in the house. And I thought I heard something outside so I looked out the windows and I spotted the mailman. He had passed our house. So I thought that once again the DVDs hadn't arrived, even though dvdoo promised they would be here on the 3rd. Still, I decided to check the mailbox. And there was one of those "unable to deliver, pick it up at the post office tomorrow" slips. So I got the slip and I got the cash and I ran off to catch the mailsanta. I was in such a hurry that I didn't remember to put on shoes. And I wasn't wearing socks. And it was freezing outside. I must have looked rather funny, all dirty clothes and dirty hair and no footwear and cash in my hand, running around like a crazy chicken with its head chopped off. But I caught the mailman and paid him and got my package. And then I went home. With feet freezing, over a gravelled and grainy parking lot. I'm telling you, I don't think my feet have ever hurt that much before. It was like walking on broken glass. Really, it was painfrigginful. When I got inside the house I immediately dropped down on a chair and went "aaaaah". And then I opened my package and softly stroked my pretty DVDs and everything was okay.

Also in the mail was a delightful christmas card from Belinda. How sweet. It's a been a long time since I got a card. Australians rock.

And so does christmas calendar lights. Yes, they do. It's December 6th, entry 6 is ready to be opened. In case you're new at this, just click on number 6 on the candle. Then you'll get your advent surprise. And you can click the previous ones too of course. Happy fundays are here again.

What a marvel, eh?

Sorry.

And that's about it for today. I'm off to enjoy my weekend through the gift of sleeping.

Goodnite.
