clix?
Again. Well, I'm still sick. A little, not a lot. And it's still vacation. Nothing going on. Apart from visits to the playground. So we'll just take another massive picture entry, with big slowloading pictures. If you don't care about baby goats and lambs then you can skip today's entry. If you do care about baby goats and sheep then go back and look at the last few entries too, lots more pictures. 31 pictures coming up today. You have been warned. Okay, let's get this party started. The star of the show is of course...
Magnet. The lovely, wonderful Magnet. I am still a smitten kitten.
How can you not love him? I'm glad I'm so naive. I'm glad a goat kid can make me so... happy.
I love Mathilde too. I'm happy for her, that she has a wonderful little kid.
The sheepies are very cute too.
It's hard getting good pictures of the black one. I really should sit down and read the instructions for my camera some day. I have only had it for a year or something. Psssh. It would do me good to learn a little more about the different settings. Anyway. The white one is photogenic too.
It's awfully cute when it sits down like that. And I'm not the only one who feels the need to take pictures.
That's been one of the good things this last week or so. Going to the playground regularly, and meeting people too. Talking to them a little. Being around them. Animals are a great way of bonding. Because who doesn't love animals? At least if you go to a playground full of animals, then you probably do.
That guy is nice. One if the supervisors. Talked to him a little. Heard him talk about Magnet too. Magnet had a problem with his eyes, it seems. Something he could die from actually. But I think the problem cleared up okay, he should be fine. I hope so anyway. It would be the saddest thing ever if that sweet little kid died.
Aw. Little fella. And of course there's Mads, always ready for trouble hehe.
The woman wanted to feed the sheep I think, and Mads was there immediately. And then a little later there was a girl who wanted to feed one of the horses.
But as soon as she got the bread out, who came running?
That's right. Mads eyed an opportunity. That girl was actually a little scared of Mads. Not hugely frightened but just sort of "oh no, now Mads is coming. Someone help". She ended up going inside the club house to get away from him hehe. He is aggressive, Mads. I just think it's fun now. You just give him a long, hard cuddle and when he starts trying to eat your clothes then you take a couple of steps away. I don't think he would ever hurt anyone. Even when he starts ramming me, it's just fun. Hehe.
Aw, isn't that precious? What a cute scene. When I took that picture, a little boy came over to see Magnet too, but the girl said "no, go a little away. He's taking pictures". That was nice of her, helping me to get good pics hehe. So I snapped another one.
And then...
"back to your mother now". I wonder what Mathilde thinks of all the fuzz her kid is causing. That old lady who took pictures of the sheeps, I heard her say to the supervisor "that's going to be one tame goat" about Magnet. Because everybody is always holding him and stuff. Mathilde is not quite as tame. I guess people didn't hold her as much when she was a kid. Or something. But it's still a funny difference, the mother who will barely let you touch her and then the little kid who let's you pick him up and everything. Oh and Mads isn't the father. I sort of guessed. It's still a fun little family though. And Magnet is getting used to the playground. No more fearful first steps. Although there are still strange, new things around...
Hehe. Chickens. He seemed curious about them, but when he got a bit closer he 'chickened out' (groan) and ran away to a safer distance. Another funny picture:
Wow! That's Mathilde jumping. High. It took me by surprise so I didn't get a better picture. Oh I wish I had had my other camera out, the one I was making movies with. That would have been the funniest video ever. I don't know what got into her. I don't think I have ever seen her jump around before really. Well, not like that anyway. She was jumping across a whole stretch of grass, high up in the air. It was like she was walking on hot coals or something. And Magnet is watching, wondering if mommy has gone crazy. Or maybe Magnet is the crazy one. I'm not sure if you can see it properly here:
But he's actually trying to climb up on her, sort of. Hehe. Could've been fun if he'd gotten up on her back and they'd walked around like that eh? What else? I found out the real names of the horses. Black Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder...
... is called Musse. And Mrs Horsey (formerly Mr Horsey)...
Is called Sine. They're both ladies. It's a little strange. Learning the real names. I've been so used to Blackie, Kees, Black Beauty, Horsey. Now it's Mads, Mathilde, Musse, Sine. And Billy the Kid only lasted a day, but I have grown fond of Magnet already hehe. It's nice to know the real names. I feel almost at home at the playground. Like I'm a little part of it now. It's been good to be there while the vacationing kids are around. And I'm having so much fun there that I actually look forward to going. Right now I'm wishing for Monday to come soon so it opens and I can go see the animals. I think it's the first time ever that I have a place away from home that I actually WANT to go to. It's really good for me to learn that I can have a good time in other places. That I can feel good without having to sit in front of a TV or a computer. Other interests, other places. That is something I must explore further, something to work on for the future. To change my life. Of course it's easier with cuties like these.
Don't worry, he got his head out no problem. There won't be baby sheepies and goats around forever. It's been good timing with the easter vacation and my sickness. I've had time to go there and see them. If Raymond stops then they should make a sitcom called Everybody Loves Magnet.
One of the boys wanted to buy him. Hehe. "He's mine, I love him". The supervisor said no. Poor kid. He also said that at least 50 others had wanted to buy Magnet. He is popular. Everybody does love him.
I don't think he's ready for carrots yet, but mother's milk is good too. I went up there yesterday too, but all the babies were inside. So that was less fun. But it's still good to see Mads and Mathilde. They were being naughty though.
The horses were outside, so Mads and Mathilde went into their stables and started eating their food! Haha. Sneaky. I wonder if the babies will grow up as sneaky too?
But that's about it. Finally. If you have lasted this long, then kudos to you. Don't worry, the babies will grow up soon and the vacation will end and then I probably won't be able to make as many massive picture posts. One last thing. I have updated plumepics and the movie page. So feel free to check that out. The movie page now has thumbnails, how handy. And you can get to see little Magnet coming up to me and sniffing my shoe. And you can get to see the baby sheepies literally jumping around with joy. Wery cute, wey cute indeed. At plumepics I have only updated the older page. No new pictures. Although I'll make Magnet and Baby Sheep entries soon. But for now just a redesign. The old design was basically one long list of tiny thumbs. Now I'm using photobucket thumbs and they are placed in rows. Looks a lot better I think, and is a lot handier for browsing. I designed it in a kind of silly way though. I wouldn't mind if some of you would check it out and tell me if the older page looks okayish. It's very simple of course, that's how I always do things. But just that it's useable and that the text lines up circa under the pictures and stuff. Aaaalrite, that's it. I promise. I have to go to bed now, because daylight's saving's time's is stealing's an hour of my sleep's. That was a Futurama impersonation, by the way. Bye, bye. Hope you're all having a nice weekend.
