It's EuroVision song contest time! Weet. I love the Eurovision. Well, the voting part anyway. "Denmark zero points" and so on. It's the only program where you can get the experience of not getting any points in multiple languages.

And apart from that not much is happening of course. Another lazy Saturday. The highlight was when Plume entered IRC for the very first time. Yes, I've resisted it for so long but today I downloaded Mirc and tried it out. To get access to some ftp servers. And wholly holy moley. That is some good stuff. I found live Live! And there's Travis and Coldplay. And who knows what else. Mmmmmmusic. Mmm Mirc. Hehe. Yessh. Good stuffing. Okay, those three bands aren't the greatest ever. But I want more live stuff. I want to live and breathe music and never come down.

And now I'll probably never go back on IRC. Because who wants to talk to people anyway?

Oh lord. Denmark is the only country still with 0 points. Embarrassing. Where are the Olsen twins when you need them?

Let me introduce you to my newest obsession. The Time Team. They're running it on Discovery. And as the intelligent mammal that I am I of course watch it.

But anyway.

The Time Team. At first I thought it was very stupid. But stupid things are good, so I kept watching. It's very fascinating. They go to some site and spend 3 days digging in the ground. And then they come up with a little bit of ancient pottery and they conclude that they have found an ancient Roman villa and then they pack everything up and leave.

I'm no archeology buff. In fact I bet I can't even spell archeology. But it's hard not getting excited when they run around and are all enthusiastic about some geophysics result. Really, it's good fun. Even if it's all staged.

What?!? Sweden didn't give us any points? Evil devils. We're supposed to be a scandinavian alliance. Haven't they watched Survivor?

But I recommend that you check out Time Team. If not for anything else then for that balding Tony Robinson from Blackadder and English politics. I love to hate him and I hate to tolerate him.

I've been inspired to put on my MST3K soundclips. Damn I'm missing that show again. My pals. My buddies. My robot servants. Sob. I even miss downloading clips from Napster. Even that was good. Oh I wish I was blowing up Prince Edward Island and going on to bomb Ontario. The destruction of Canada and all of its culture is by far my favourite scenario. Blame Canada. Hah. South Park is tame compared.

So anyway. Denmark lost spectacularly and I'm going to go dig in our back yard. You never know what midieval settlements used to live here.
