A nice summer day. Cold and rainy. Perfect.

Nothing too interesting happened today. Just for a change I wasn't stopped and asked directions in English. Traditions are meant to be broken.

My dad will be home tomorrow. I'm sure I will have lots more to say about that eventually. Quite possibly involving swear words.

I want to stay home tomorrow and watch England-Brazil. But now I'm thinking that I will be a good boy and go to work instead. I know I should. I guess I will. The World Cup is boring now anyway. No surprises. (sarcasm).

At least there won't be any own goals. FIFA, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that "own goal" is a negative term and so they will just ignore the truth and tradition of the game. That's why Rio Ferdinand got the goal against Denmark. It was obviously an own goal by our keeper. But nooo, that would be negative. 0-3. And there's no sudden death either. Just golden goal. Brilliant.

Ooh Ooh. Someone got a perfect score on my quiz. That means free promotion!
