Today was a grand day. It was Sonja's last day at work. Do you remember Sonja? No, not Sonja from saxogade or Sonja røverdatter. Sonja who hates me. Well, that's my theory anyway. She's mean and bitter and likes to talk about people behind their backs. And now she's gone. Huzzah! I hope she has a nice life. Just because we didn't get along doesn't mean... well it doesn't mean anything, does it? Not really.

There wasn't a big farewell party or anything though. A normal day. Washed the hall. Bought vegetables at the bazar. The nice shopkeeper gave me a juicebag. Like a juice brick only it's more like a little bag. Ya no? Tasty. He's always so nice to me. Good people.

Remember that door that lead to nowhere at the barn? The one high up on a wall? Well, it no longer leads to nowhere. They are building a walkway. So that solves the mystery of the door that lead nowhere. The mystery of the the wall in the middle of nowhere is still unsovled though. It doesn't seem like they're planning to do anything with it. I still don't know why it's there. It must have been standing there for 6 months or more now. Werd.

After work I stopped at the gas station. Wanted to rent a video or two. I saw Harry Potter 2 and thought that would be some cheap entertainment. But then my brain interjected and informed me that if the new one was number 2 then there must be a number 1. And it would make more sense to watch that one first. I thanked my brain and grabbed Harry Potter the original and then some stuff happened and I walked for a while and some more stuff happened and then I popped the video in the vcr. And I fast forwarded through 8 minutes of capitalism. And then the movie started. And some wizard type person was doing something with the street lights. And then. Then a voice said something. In Danish. They were speaking Danish.

Now, I'm sure people don't know much about Denmark. But I can inform you that it is not normal for live action movies to be dubbed in Danish. It's not like Germany where everything apparently has to be in German. So I was a little surprised. I didn't really think Harry Potter was considered a kid's movie. But I guess so. Because the only movies that are usually overdubbed are kid's movies and cartoons.

But the point of the matter of the gist of the question is that I cannot watch a movie dubbed in danish. I can't take it serious.

So that was a waste of money. I'm sure it must have said somewhere on the box that it was a Danish version. I can't blame anyone but myself. And my brain. I'll get him some day. Lousy no-good beatnick.

Yet somehow life goes on. I saw Mew's Comforting Sounds on MTV. Makes me happy. I hope they get some kind of small breakthrough. And it's a good video, beautiful in places. I like the part where the lead singer opens his coat and we see inside him and I'm not going to try to describe it all but the part that looks like an old fashioned typewriter typing the lyrics as he sings. I like that part a lot.

I'm liking Mew unhealthily much at the moment. So much that I'm almost more sorry to miss Roskilde because of Mew than because of Zwan. And that makes no sense. Because Billy Corgan is in Zwan, not in Mew.

Speaking of Zwan and Roskilde... it is now completely official. Zwan are playing Roskilde. It's on their website. Which isn't working much for me at the moment. But nonetheless. Zwan will be in Denmark in a couple of months and I will miss them. They better come back in the future. Or I will have one more thing to kick myself in the head over. And let me tell you, it's not easy to kick yourself in the head. I'm getting old, I couldn't make the cut for the next Jackass movie.

I guess I should be going. The last two episodes ever of the X-files are on Danish TV tonight. I will be cheaply entertained yet.
