clix? Okay. There's not much to talk about today, so I'm going to make this a picture entry. And yes, I know. Too many pictures. Too bloody big sizes. I'm sorry. There's nothing I can do about it. The demons in my head won't be persuaded to go easy on you readers. So go make coffee while the page loads. Or skip off and do something more productive. Me, I'm going to go count sheep.
And goats too. Yes, I went back to the playground from yesterday. Skye told me to. We're still trying to work out the vacation plans. Hopefully that'll work out. But she told me to go be with the animals. And I did. The best thing I've done in a long, long while. It was great. That guy above is Father goat. At least that's what I call him. He seems to be the biggest and oldest goat. He was limping though, must have hurt his leg. They were all lovely though.
The goats.
The sheep. What is the plural of sheep? Sheeps? Sheepies? Sheep?
All lovely indeed. There was a funny little seperation thing going on though.
The black sheepies were hanging out in their own little corner hehe. I love sheep, they're so fluffy.
The star of the show was this guy though:
Bad picture, sorry. He was great though. Quite curious towards me. And very active. And very cute.
Aw. It's been too long since I last petted an animal. It doesn't surprise me that mentally retarded people benefit from being around animals. Riding horses, swimming with dolphins, petting animals. There is just something liberating about being close to animals. It must be good for the soul. I had a great time with these sheep and goats. Forgot all my worries for a while. Healing.
And that fella was fun. He was like trying to knock down the fence several times. And he got up like that, with his two front legs on the highest plank in the fence. Like he was trying to climb it almost. And..
He jumped it! He did. Too bad he didn't do it while I was making one of my movies. That would have been awesome. But it was still crazy. All of a sudden he just jumped the fence. And started eating the grass on the other side. I thought about getting some supervisors or something but then I realized that they weren't actually fenced in. There was big gap in the fence already, so they weren't really forced to stay in their enclosure. It kind of takes away some of the grandness of his great escape, don't you think? He could have just walked out of the enclosure hehe. But he had to make a show for me I guess. Right on the other side of the trees there is a parking lot and concrete ghetto appartment blocks. I doubt they'd want to escape the lush greens and tasty grass really. I can just imagine the goat left on the other side of the fence going "man, how'd you do that? I wish I could escape too". Silly goats. It was great fun. I could have spent hours just walking around there, watching them eat grass. Sweet little things. Too bad the horses weren't out, I would have liked to see them too. I did get to see chickens, geese and bunnies though. So all in all it was a great time. Soothing for the mind.
How can you not love those? They almost form a heartshape, don't they? I'm not ashamed that I can get so excited from being around a few common sheep and goats. I'm happy about it. Animals never cease to amaze me. soundtrack: nothing ... ...baaah back and forth clix
