Oh Monday, wherefore art thou Monday? I mean really. Wherefore?

Tired, tired morning. Tired, tired work. PageMaker lessons.

It would have been like any other day had it not been for the fire. Apparently a fire broke out in the appartment blocks on the other side of the bunnyhare field. I'm not entirely sure how serious it was. We were watching from the windows. There was a firetruck. Paramedics carrying someone out in this picture. A cameraman from a TV station too. Smoke over the trees.

By the time I left work it was all gone though, no sign of firetrucks or smoke. No cameramen hanging around.

On my way home from work I stopped in Favorit and did some shopping. The nice thing about doing that is that I have to walk home past the playground with all the animals. I stopped for a little and watched the sheep. Big and small sheep, making cute sheep sounds. I like that place. Sheep and goats and horses and ponies and geese and pigs. One of these days I'm going to go up there and spend some real time. So I don't have to leave immediately because I'm carrying frozen vegetables. I want to go watch the animals.

The main event of the day has been Denmark's first game at the European Championships. A 0-0 draw against Italy. That was pretty good. We played a great first half. And Italy is one of the best nations in the world of soccer so a point against them isn't bad. Now we play Bulgaria on Friday and then Sweden after that. Our chances are decent. We did much better than I had expected.

Nine working days till vacation. Thank god. I need to get away from everything. My head is spinning.

Time for bed.
