Rumour has it that Zwan will be going to the Netherlands. Skye is in the Netherlands. I'm in Denmark. Not too far from the Netherlands. Skye + me + Zwan in the Netherlands. That would be pretty much perfect. I know in my heart and soul (ooh baby) that I should go. But it's in February already. And my timetable says that dealing with leaving Denmark should be May at the earliest. Stupid timetable.

We'll see what happens. I want to see Zwan. I really want to see Skye. Maybe if Santa invents a cure for social phobia by christmas it could happen. (that's the part where I shrug of the responsibility and pretend that it's not all up to myself in the end).

What else is new? I succesfully installed my usb 2.0 pci adapter card last night. Go me. I didn't even ruin anything. And it worked. It actually worked. My usb hard drive is now much faster. I can't believe it actually worked. I'm such a master at doing computer things.

And I figured out why the drive seemingly shut down some times. It's the power save alrite. Windows was set to shut down my hard drives after 1 hour of not doing anything. Which was okay. Except for some reason my usb drive wouldn't power up again. So when it powered down it just stayed down. Annoying. But I have set it to not power down so often and hopefully that solves it. And thus things are pretty much back to normal. I just have to rename all the dir01, dir02, dir124 things that my recover program made. I lost the folder names but not the files. That's live-with-able. And I have to get all the stuff I sent to Skye back. Unfortunately her upstream is not too fast. So it's going to take some time. But it beats losing the stuff. I never should have made an 800mb zip file though. That was unsmart on by behalf. But it's okay and it'll be okay.

At work I saw a dog that looked like Skye's puppy. That made my day.

The new bitchies awards are coming. I won Most Obvious Hit Whore last year. I wouldn't mind getting nominated again. Even though I think I've toned the whoriness down a little. I mean look at my clix links, they're practically non-existent compared to how it used to be. Maybe that's why I can't even make it to the top 100 anymore. But I promise that even though I'm wearing more expensive clothes I'm still just a cheap slut.

I bet I could get Most Annoying Writer because of all the computer nonsense I've been doing lately.

For the 3rd weekend running the weather forecast says snow. If I knew anything about baseball I would make some kind of joke about 3 strikes and you're out. But I don't. So I'm just going to say that I hope we'll actually get some now this time.

My brother comes home for the holidays tomorrow. If I lived in TV Land I would have the Charmed sister come and vanquish him.

I wish I lived in TV Land.
