Another very cold morning. Freezing. The weather forecast says possible snow in Denmark. Just not in my region, of course. But who knows. Maybe a little miracle.

The trees will be bare soon. I watched the leaves falling. I have never done that before. I think. I have never noticed it before at least. I guess I have always thought that the leaves fell so slow that you didn't see it. You just saw one here and one there and then the next morning most of them were on the ground. But on my way to work they were falling like raindrops almost. I guess it was because of the cold.

Just too bad for the suckers that have to sweep it all away. Oops, that would be me. Oh well.

So cold that the puddles were iced.

Speaking of work... does any of my Danish readers remember Al-Aqsa Cola? The anti American cola? Not anti American as in "we kill you infidels" but just anti war and such. An alternative to Coca Cola. Guess who I work with? I work with the guy who was behind that. Yup. Ahmad, the new computerguy. He was the Al-Aqsa guy. He was famous for a week when it happened. Unfortunately some martyrs brigade decided to name themself after that mosque too and there was political heat and in the end the brewery decided to call it quits. So he only got one thousand bottles produced before it stopped. Nice reading about it here (still only if you're Danish). A muslim cola. He's planning to start it up again actually. But as an export business. I guess the Danish bottle recycling system makes it too costly. But he has contacts in other countries. Hey, maybe he'll give some freebies. I don't mind my cola cheap. And muslim I guess.

Not to be confused with Mecca Cola. Or Zam Zam.

And more smiling. The weather forecast is showing pictures of the first snowman of the year in Denmark. A tiny one. Aw. I wish it would snow here.

Less smiley is the news of Elliott Smith's suicide. I never listened to any of his music. But lots of people with great taste in music have recommended him to me. He was definitely on my list of things to get into. Well, I guess he still is. How come only good musicians are dying?
