It was very cold this morning. In fact it's been very cold all day. One of those days when you just want to torch your workplace and sit down and warm your hands at the fire. No, no, no. That's wrong. In theory.

Cafer wasn't at work. Left me all by myself. How irresponsible of him. Nothing interesting happened. Nobody died from the cold.

On my way home I took a little detour to avoid some people on the road. People are bad news, always. So I took a walk through some green, green grass instead. And came across a dead rat. Or mouse. Or something. I didn't look too close. You shouldn't either. Don't look at this picture unless you have a strong stomach. Freaky. I guess the cold did get to somebody. Or maybe the cats were feasting last night. It looks strange. Almost cartoony. Flat like it had been run over. But it wasn't even close to the road. Maybe it was a fat cat.

The biggest event of the day was my new hard drive though. And no, you're not hallucinating. It's an EXTERNAL hard drive. Weet. I almost said ETERNAL hard drive. The everlasting hard diks.

I must say this USB hard drive thing is brilliant. It's so much easier. Just plug it in and there you go. One brand spanking new hard drive. Okay, it's pretty slow. Because I don't have USB 2.0. I have 1.1 instead. But I have ordered a PCI adapter card thingster online and hopefully that will speed it up. Either way, I now have 4 hard drives connected. Adding up to 140 gigabytes. That feels good. Goood with an extra "o". Now I'll just have to find out wether I can still use the 60gb one or I'll have to disconnect it. Last recovery mission goes live tomorrow and after that I should be pretty much back to normal. Sweet.

And I can save every little thing. No need to redownload the Zwan shows. It's all going to turn out okay.
