clix? No rain today. But clouds, lots of clouds. Which means little sun. And a slightly cooler temperatures. Not bad. Work progressed in a most remote way. Cafer wasn't there, so I worked with Bassam. We got our stuff done and then I skeedadled. Made my way across the bridge and down the Gellerup ghetto. I was going on a shopping spree. As I have hinted previously I really rather needed a new fan to keep me cool. So I went to City Vest and got one. It was in the last shop I checked. I was all over the mall. Thought I wouldn't be able to find one. But thankfully they had fans in Inspiration. So now I'm a fan of Inspiration. Hah. Ah. While I was all over the mall looking for the fan I bought various other stuff too. A new pair of shoes. My boot thingies are too hot for summer. And my 2 year old sneakers are just horribly old and dirty and they still creak with every step I take. So I got some nice new ones. Nothing fancy. Just something cheap that will last me till winter hopefully. And then I got shirts. 6 of them. Yowzer. I almost never but clothes. What with the "hide away from humanity" thing and all. But I wanted some new ones so I bought 3 in Føtex. And then on the second floor of the mall there was a shop with 3 t-shirts for a hundred bucks. That's cheap, man. Okay they were just plain one colour boring t-shirts. But still. At least I'm not a slave to the fashion empires unlike all you catwalk junkies. And I mean that with a great deal of respect of course. Some day I'll start caring about what I wear too. In theory. I got a cheap summer jacket kind of thing too in Føtex. You know you're in trouble when you buy your clothes in discount super markets. But nevertheless. Then I got some batteries in Merlin. Good batteries. You can't have too many of those. And then I walked around for a while. Got some cheap chocolate in Billige Willy. Hehe. You could almost translate that to Free Willy. Almost. Cheap Willy at least. Then some more walking. And then I found the fan. At this point I'm carying 5 bags of clothes and shoes and one big table fan. I felt almost like a real person doing shopping. What a funny feeling. I should shop more often. Now I understand why all the crazy kid always hang out at the mall. I had to walk all that stuff home, that wasn't fun really. Both of my hands were full of bags so there was no way to alternate the weight. Hard on the old shoulders. My arms are going to hurt tomorrow. But all in all I would call that a succesful shopping trip. It's not like I go on so many. And right now I'm being cooled by my fancy new fan. It's not quite as powerful as the old one, but on the plus side it does work when I press the button and I don't have to precariously balance it on some books so it lies in the exact right position that makes it work. Gotta love that. And now I'm going to relax a lotly lot. Skye enjoyed Zwan yesterday. It was nice to hear her tell about it. I wish I could have been there. Hanging out with Billy. Rocking to Spilled Milk. Some day. Some day, I say. Some day, I say, it'll all be okay. I really want a picture of Billy Corgan taken with my own camera. It's great seeing other people's pictures and all. But I want one for myself, a personal one, with my camera, seen through my eyes. You dig? Aight, I'm off to bed homies. See you on the flippier side of things. np: zwan - endless summer (acoustic) ...of an endless summer...you me and billy makes three back and forth clix
