clix?
But at least it's weekend soon. Let's see, what has happened the last two days? I got a letter from the anxiety clinic. As far as I can tell I have been accepted for treatment for my wacky head. I have an appointment for March 2nd. Probably some pre-meeting before the group therapy stage. So that will be interesting. A clerk at Favorit called me "sir". Haha. I guess that point comes in everybody's life. If you're a guy anyway. I don't mind. I'm not a kid anymore. I'd like to be a sir. I need to roughen up a bit, I'm smooth as a baby's behind. A more rugged look is in order. At least I'm a sir now. I have been buying presents for work. Both Lars and Mazen are stopping. Mazen tomorrow. I told you that I bought the Sillymarillyon for Lars, right? And yesterday I bought George Michael's greatest hits for Mazen. So that's a lot of shoppen. I also helped Sanne find pictures of Angelina Jolie. Apparently Lars likes her. And me being the big expert on Angelina (oh the years I have spent studying her...) she asked me to help find pictures. Or at least help her identify Angelina on google image search. Today we all signed the paper/card with all the Jolie pictures on it. Sanne actually picked one topless picture for it. Haha. Odd. She came over to Poul Erik and I to have us sign it and she said "Now don't be scared by the erotic lady" or something like that. Like we would be scared by the breasts. Hah, if I had a dollar for every time I looked at Angelina's breasts. Years and years... Anyway. Mazen is leaving for a cleaning job by the way. A Danish guy with his qualifications would never take a cleaning job. But he needs to feed his family so he pretty much has to take anything he can get. He's leaving us to go clean trains. He's Iraqi I think. He's a real nice guy. I don't know him that well and he hasn't been with us for long. But I'll miss him more than Lars. I hope the new people we get will be nice. Next week I will be like the senior officer. Only Poul Erik will have been working there longer. And Sanne of course, she's the boss. She's the only one who's there as a "regular" employee. The rest of us are short term hirings. Coming and going. I'm glad I have talked to Sanne about my phobia. It feels good that someone knows. It makes me more comfortable around her. I'm trying to be more social. To say things now and then. It's going pretty well. Not long conversations, but just little small talk. It's still not easy. But it's getting better I think. And it snowed. I went to the playground. Kees and Blackie weren't there, but I had my fun with the sheepies and horsies.
So that was quite nice. A good day apart from the headache. Today started really good.
Oh yes. A snowy morning.
A snow storm hit the region. Unfortunately it didn't come quite far enough north. So what I got wasn't really a snow storm. But enough snow to make me happy. I was planning to go to Den Gamle By after work. The Old City. Old buildings, nice park. I have seen it from the bus. It looks good great when the park is all snowed up. Unfortunately the rain came. Darn. I should have gone earlier, I have been thinking about it for days. But now instead of snow storm there was rain. I still went and had a look around. And it's still a nice place. With a pond.
Even ducks.
And my old playgrounds.
So not bad at all. I just couldn't help being a little disappointed. I wanted the full snowblown version. Instead I could watch the rain slowly tear the snow away everywhere. Still, the universe threw me a happy pill.
Aw. Not only is it a pretty dog. It's also a pretty dog lying on the floor in the bed store. The store full of beds. The one I walk by every morning, wishing I could go in and lie down in one of the beds. I just thought it was funny that the dog was lying on the floor when there were all those comfy beds in the room. In the picture he's paying attention to the silly photographer but when I walked past at first he was just lying down, it looked like a dog sleeping on the floor in a store full of beds. What's not to like about that? I wanted to tell you about the cute bar girl too, but now it's really too late and I must rest my head. Maybe tomorrow the ache will be gone. clix
