Campeones!

My bad feelings were all in vain. Sort of. Brøndby RE won the Danish soccer championship. This is amazing stuff. But since no one else cares about brondby or soccer I will shut up about it. Congratulations BIF.

But that was the only really interesting thing to happen today. Work was fairly boring. The highlight was Bent's story about his former coworker called Einstein. The guy only had one testicle. If you know you German then you'll see why that's so hysterically amusing haha.

And cute kids came to play in the hall. I resisted my criminal tendencies to take highly illegal pictures. Although I could probably make a fortune on the black market with them.

I was looking at my old school's website (see previous entry) and came upon a list of teachers. And look at number six there. Annette Topholm. That was my class teacher. It's probably different in the rest of the world but here in Denmark you'll typical get a main teacher who will follow you throughout the time you're in school. She was my Danish teacher. And she's still teaching kids at Gammelgården. The terror continues. Haha. No, she was all right. It must be interesting following a class of pupils for so long. 9-10 years. Seeing them from kindergarten age to their exams. When you're a kid and part of it you don't see the whole scope of it. You're just involved in your own life. Imagine seeing 20-25 kids growing up like that. Fascinating.

I recognise more names on the list. Jutta Byrialsen. She was my french teacher for a while. Geez, now I can't even remember if she was that really good one who made me like French. My memory sucks as always. Finn Staffensen was our quite popular math teacher. The year before our exams they passed some new rules that forced him to take time off and we got a new math teacher for the final year. It was never the same.

Henning Dupont. Hehe. Our music teacher. And now he's handling the website.
rok one!
Yeah. Good memories. Especially these. Pictures from one of the Final Schooldays. A tradition. The graduating classes dress up in costumes and then they hand out caramels and water. The water being handed out with water guns and hoses and water balloons. Fun fun. The ritual chanting of "MELLER! MELLER! MELLER! MELLER! MELLER!" short for karameller. Caramels. You have to find a balance. Encourage them to throw bonbons to you but not bug them enough so you have 5 huge boys soaking you with water. And then when the time comes and you're the graduating one then you take it all out on the younger kids and soak them as much as possible. Good clean fun.

I didn't dress up in a costume. I didn't soak anyone. I did throw out candy though. A party animal as always.

That was all pretty pointless I guess. But good memories. Nice places, nice people. It looks the same. You haven't changed.

Forza Brøndby olé. Night all.
