Phew! I did it. I rode my bike to work.

Quite a trip. And it went okay. It took me 26 minutes. The bus takes around 20. But if you take the bus then you have to figure in the 5 minute walk from my house to the bus stop and the 10 minute walk from the bus stop to the Reva center. So when you put it all together I actually got there faster on bike! I arrived at work early, 5 minutes to 9. Imagine that.

I was a little nervous about it. I can't remember the last time I went on a bike ride that long. But I got a positive sign when I started out. A jedi kitty crossed my path. One of the grey twins. I haven't seen them for so long. So that made me more optimistic. I also saw one of them on my way home from work. Maybe the same. Maybe the other twin. In either case it was nice to see them again. I was worried they had left.

All in all that was quite positive. I think I will take the bike on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That works with my gym schedule. Because the other days I have my workout in the gym as the last thing I do before I leave work. And I don't know how glad my legs will be if I go straight from working out to a 30 minute bike ride. But when I get a little more used to it maybe I can do it every day. I'm glad I tried it out. It must be good for me to get the extra exercise.

I was going to write more but I have lost the mood. I think I'll go rock the cleave instead.
